Chapter Information
Omicron Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was organized on April 30, 1930 at the home of Mary Smith Buford, located a few miles west of Tulsa. Grand Chapter First Vice President, Jeanette Tripplett-Jones of Lambda Chapter, established Omicron Sigma Chapter, which later became Tulsa Alumnae Chapter. Omicron Sigma was the first chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. chartered in Oklahoma.
